Each and every IPL fan has held his nerve hoping for a full-fledged IPL to happen this year too. But now, after the approval from the ministry of external affairs, no doubt remains over the happening of the IPL!!
But the conditions and pitches in UAE may not be same as in India. Though not totally, but the pitches may still slightly differ from those in India.
The three venues in the United Arab Emirates; Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi contain pitches which are highly spin friendly. Hence, this time around, every team’s mantra to success will be ‘Spin it to win it’.

1) DELHI CAPITALS
The Delhi Capitals have got a good bunch of world class spinners in there team, even if they may not be able to play all of them at once. While they have got Axar Patel, R Ashwin and Amit Mishra who can provide valuable experience, Sandeep Lamichhane, who is playing in most of the T20 leagues round the globe, can be a player to look out for. All of these players account for more than 360 wickets between them.

2) CHENNAI SUPER KINGS
The Chennai Super Kings, just like every time, enter the IPL with a very well balanced team. They too, have got a pack of world class spinners.They have last year’s purple cap winner Imran Tahir on one hand, while on the other hand they have The ‘Turbanator’ Harbhajan Singh, who has helped the Mumbai Indians win 3 IPL titles before he left for CSK in 2018. They also have Mitchell Santner and Piyush Chawla who has one of the highest career wickets in the IPL till date in their ranks.
Considering the pitches and conditions, CSK will be a strong contender for this year’s IPL title.
